Gas Gas factory team for the 2015 Enduro World Championship

The Girona firm unveils its riders for the GAS GAS ENDURO FACTORY TEAM. Jonathan Barragán is incorporated as an official rider in training, and as a teammate with the Frenchman Antoine Basset in category E3. While the Italian Jonathan Manzi also joins the team, defending the colors in E1, and the Portuguese rider Diogo Ventura will fight for the World title in Junior.

On the occasion of the opening round of the Spanish Enduro Championship took place in Puerto Lumbreras, the Catalan factory took the opportunity to gather together and present their 2015 World Enduro Championship riders.

Jonathan Barragán and Jonathan Manzi are two major additions of the 2015 Gas Gas Factory Team, the official team for this upcoming season. The Madrid rider will contest the World and National Enduro races at the controls of the powerful Gas Gas EC 300, along with Antoine Basset in this maximum displacement category. The Frenchman has renewed his confidence in the Salt company and he will also contest the World GP as well as the French Enduro championship in E3.

Fifth last year in the Junior World Championship, Diogo Ventura goes in search of a jump in his results that will let him fight for the title in the single category of the world championship without displacement regulations. And for that, the Portuguese rider has moved to a smaller displacement bike which he finds to be more versatile for his aspirations. Ventura will be riding a Gas Gas EC 250 two-stroke to fight for the highest international award and will also compete in both the Spanish and the Portuguese national championships.

And finally, Jonathan Manzi also adds to the disciplines of the Gas Gas Factory Team. The Italian, who has already started the season with competition in the Italian ‘Assoluto’, will be at the controls of the new Gas Gas EC 250 F, a bike upon which he will face his rivals in the quarter-liter category, E1.

The World Enduro Championship starts this year in the Brazilian city of Patrocinio. Where on the 11th and 12th of April, they will host the Brazilian Grand Prix, the first of the eight rounds of a championship that will close with the GP of France, the weekend of October 3rd and 4th.

GAS GAS PONS TEAM

The Gas Gas Pons Team will have the support of the Catalan brand

Parallel to the official factory team, the Salt firm will support throughout the season the team known as; The GAS GAS PONS TEAM, made up of riders, Marc Solà (E3) and the young Sergi Casany (JOP & Junior 125 cc).

Marc Solà will participate in the Spanish national championships at the controls of the Gas Gas EC 300. The rider from Vic will compete in both Spanish Enduro and Raids Championships. Competing in the raids events while on board a Gas Gas EC 450 F that is specially adapted for this discipline with the navigational instruments.

Sergi Casany is the latest addition to the Gas Gas ranks, the young rider also from Vic, one of the future promises for the national enduro, will fight for the Spanish Enduro Championship Junior Open and within that category, also because of the Junior 125cc, he will be riding a Gas Gas EC 125, the smallest and most mischievous bike within the 2015 Gas Gas Enduro range.
